Sugar Rush 2

So far, the other jewelry ladies have found 37 ways to wear Sugar Rush. Talk about getting some bang for your buck! I'm not up to 37 yet, but I'll keep you posted as I learn new ways :)

Marsala!

I'm wearing the new Sugar Rush necklace and Sorbet earrings, along with the silver Starlet and It's a Wrap bracelets and Naomi ring. This is a great necklace that does it all and is a great way to add some pastel to your wardrobe for the spring.

Also, my hostess today is a friend who sells Mary Kay, and she did my makeup! Isn't it amazing? I wish she could do my makeup everyday.

Layered on

This necklace came out last winter and it's been a favorite since (especially for hostesses - who get it free!).

There are so many ways to wear this one! I took it on vacation last year and wore it for 5 days straight, all different ways. This is an awesome travel piece :)

Statement earrings

Statement earrings are sooo easy! Messy bun, scarf, and statement earrings. I love that Premier has a lot of light statement earrings that I can wear all day. If big earrings typically pull down too much and give you headaches, you may want to give a few of Premier's lighter pairs and see what you think :)

I'm wearing the light but beautiful Casablanca earrings, and the usual gold and brown arm party of It's a Wrap and Starlet.

Dolman sweater

I only recently discovered the Dolman style, but I love it! It's so flattering. This sweater is so fun because it's a great color and it's sparkly!

Emerald was the color of the year in 2013, but I'm still loving it! This is another of the sweaters from my most recent Goodwill haul.

Isn't it pretty? I'm wearing it with the Papaya, necklace (one strand doubled), the peach Gumdrops earrings, the gold Down to the Wire ring, brown It's a Wrap bracelet, and Fired Up bracelet.

I actually had to defend this dress at Goodwill ... as I was putting my "return" selections back, someone else was looking at this dress on my cart! Luckily I got there in time ... this one is a gold mine!

I paired this with the Urbanite neckace and Sitting Pretty earrings, nice and simple :)

Stunning and lace

Remember how I said no orange during football season? The truth is, I really like the color orange, but I really dislike the teams it represents. So, when it's not football season, I really like to wear it (hence two days in a row on the blog).

You won't believe this, but I got these heels from Target last year for $4! It pays to clearance-shop.

Summer dreaming

Statement earrings are going to be big this spring, so why not just go ahead and start breaking them in now? I've had this dress for quite a while and it's fantastic for summer vacations: Comfy, light, and so cute!

Because of the shape of the beaded neckline, there aren't any necklaces that really go with it, so I'm wearing the Jane earrings and an arm party!

Ivory Lace

Today is our three-and-a-half-years anniversary. Is there a fancy name for that? Well anyway, I don't get to wear my dress again every year, so I'll be wearing something at least a little similar - ivory and lace.

Y'all, this entire outfit (except the shoes) is from Goodwill! Can you believe it?

I've had a bow-shirt on my wishlist forever, and this one is perfect! I'm wearing Wrapped in Faith, Real Find, and the silver Starlet bracelet. Can't wait to wear both the skirt and blouse lots more ways soon!

Along with Belize, Stunning is also extremely versatile and will go with lots of things already in your closet. And at $48, it's a steal!

I took off the two middle strands to wear today with this pretty green almost-sweater dress. This is an awesome necklace for people learning to layer.

What are some of your best layering tips?

Shades of red

No red here, but this is really close to Marsala, which is the color of the year for 2015. This is a great shade that looks great on just about anyone. If you don't have a maroon piece of clothing, head over to your local thrift shop and get something! I just found a perfect Marsala cardigan at Goodwill this weekend and I can't wait to show you :)

I'm wearing the gold strands of Belize doubled with the gemstone strand from Work It, and the Work It earrings. Belize is an awesome necklace to mix and match with other pieces.

How to make normal things look designer

It's really simple, but it can change your wardrobe and fashion choices.

You take something normal ... then you turn it to the side!

Comfy Friday

While it's nice to dress up and feel really polished most days, it's also nice to dress down and be comfy! This is my go-to weekend look when I want to wear something other than sweatpants :)

Scarf weather

Like it or not, it's still stinking cold here in Georgia.

I've had this scarf for a really long time and still love it. I'm wearing the Frills earrings, Kaleidoscope bracelets, and Can't get Enough bracelets. They didn't stay in their little pattern very well throughout the day today (being much different sizes), but I still liked the combination.

Forcing it

I've been eagerly anticipating the end of football season (since my team's bowl game is already won and there isn't an SEC team in the championship) so I could wear this dress! I found this gem at Goodwill with the original tags still on it! It happens to be from one of my new favorite stores at the mall, but I never actually buy anything there because it's usually too expensive. I also wanted to wait far enough away from October so the black and orange wouldn't look too Halloween-ish.

Do you love it? I wasn't sure about the black and brown combination at first, but really loved it by the end of the day. How do you wear black and brown together?

Neutrals

I found this cute blouse at Goodwill forever ago and never wore it for two reasons: First, I didn't have a black cami to wear under it, and second, I wanted to wear it with black pants, and these ones have been in my "to-repair" pile for over a year. They just needed a new button. Seriously, procrastination sucks.

I'm really loving how this outfit came together. It probably would have looked better with heels, but flats are so much more comfortable. This is the Instant Style necklace, and I wore the Reminder ring and silver It's a Wrap bracelet.

Shades of blue

Don't you love it when an outfit just comes together? This one came together for me while I was putting away laundry last night, which always makes the morning easier :)

I love how the pink tones in this Dreamscicle necklace play off the soft pink pants. I'm also wearing the coral Gumdrops earrings.

The warmest sweater I own

This is the warmest sweater I own. It just doesn't go with any necklaces I own. So again, statement earrings!

Aren't these earrings pretty? They are light, and the rounded bottom helps soften harsh jawlines.

Baby, it's FREEZING out there!

My outfit choice wasn't the best for weather in the teens. Southerners weren't bred for these kinds of temperatures. And sweater dresses get a little old after awhile.

This is another of those dresses Brent picked for me that I really like.

Isn't this dress pretty? It definitely isn't the warmest, but I do love it! It goes great with the Grand Entrance set. I'm also wearing some diamond studs and the Jazz ring.

Also, check out my new heels! I love them! Penny's is having a great after-Christmas sale. These shoes were just $25, plus I had about $18 on a gift card from returning something last year, so this was a great bargain buy! Not to mention ... I found shirts for $0.97 each! You'll be seeing a lot of those coming up :) What's the most amazing deal you've ever gotten?

Baby, it's cold outside!

Last year, Brent got me a few pairs of fleece-lined leggings for Christmas, and they're fantastic! So warm, and they have a great cable knit pattern too.

Black & Brown

Another cold day, another sweater dress! Aside from being cute, these boots are also super-warm.

This cowl neck doesn't always work quite right, but the necklace is great! I've doubled it and twisted it, so all the colors and bead textures fit together in a fun, unique, go-with-everything necklace. What other colors could you see yourself wearing with Copper Canyon?
