Key to my heart

This is a great anniversary, birthday, valentines day, or "I'm sorry" piece. It's simple but very sparkly and sentimental. It also works well in layering (more on that in a later post).

Do you think you'd like to receive this from your special someone?

Colorful chiffon

Necklaces that go with just about everything are my favorite! This necklace has also been a favorite birthday present for a lot of my customers, and the recipients all loved their present.

I paired it with these adorable bracelets: color wheel and sheerly playful.

What do you think of all the colors? How would you wear this combination?

Wow factor + mint + coral

This is a fun different way to wear the Wow Factor necklace. You can actually do this with most of premier's multi-strand necklaces.

I framed it with a retired necklace called Tangerine that my husband got me for my birthday last year. I'm still in love with that coral color.

What do you think? Do you like coral and mint?

Seaside 2

How many necklaces can you wear backwards and it work? Here's one!

Isn't this great?

I paired it with the sparkly studs from the cute as a button earrings.

And do you like my fun nail design?

Seaside 1

Today I wore a pretty but plain khaki sweater dress. I brightened it up with the beautiful seaside necklace. This is another versatile and fun necklace.

I finally got the earrings that match...

And it has a great matching bracelet!

Emily Earrings

My husband surprised me with these amazing earrings for valentines day. He picked them out of the catalog and did a great job, as always. I can see these being great for weddings, proms, and other formal events.

Unfortunately, you really can't see all the sparkle that these give off in the light, but I can assure you they give off a rainbow of colors.

Would you wear these for your next formal event?

Paradise Found

Another beautiful gold necklace, but with lots of pretty colors. Paradise Found doesn't look like much in the catalog, but one of my jeweler friends showed it to me recently and I fell in love.

This necklace has matching earrings, but I wore it with my favorite: Gold Lace.

What do you think of this necklace? Do you love all the colors?

Zoology

Animal print is fantastic. It goes with just about everything and is a great accent. I used our zoology necklace today to liven up a solid khaki sweater dress.

I also wore the Zebra stretch bracelet. This is one of my favorite bracelets because the pieces are flat and don't get in the way when I'm typing or writing. So nice!

Near and Dear locket

Today I wore this beautiful necklace, Near and Dear. It contains four lockets on a removable cluster of other charms.

I'm also wearing the first necklace my husband gave me while we were dating. He was very pleased I found this way to frame it using premier.

This look also works with a chunky scarf.

(Ignore the clothes in the background - it was laundry day).

Here is a close-up of the charms:

Isn't this a great heirloom piece? I would love to receive or give something like this with family photos to relatives. Maybe I will :)

Minty Fresh

Mint is such a pretty, happy color. So happy and pretty, in fact, that we painted our living room mint. I guess that's commitment to a trend! :)

I wore this necklace with a black and nude dress and love the mint accents of the necklace, earrings, and bracelet.

Which piece is your favorite? If you picked the necklace, get ready to love it a little more, because there's more to it coming up!

Starry-Eyed + City Lights

Today I've doubled Starry-Eyed and used it to frame City Lights, another new edition to my table. It's a 60-inch long hematite played chain with pretty crystals, making it very versatile. I like that it can be worn dressy or casual.

What do you think of this layered look?

Starry-Eyed

This is a new addition to my collection and I'm so excited to share it and all the ways to wear it with you! Today I'm wearing it doubled.

These are the matching earrings:

What do you think of this black and white look?

Wow Factor

This is a fun necklace! It has gold, silver, and pearls and can be worn a few different ways. This first way is just worn normal.

This is one of my favorites because it is versatile and stylish.

Race Day Bling

Today's post has no premier bling, but still some very personal meaningful bling. You'll see why soon.

I didn't sleep much, being nervous and sick, so waking up at 5:30 wasn't a problem. It was pouring down rain, freezing cold, and gusting winds around 20 miles per hour. Not a good start to my first long distance race.

It seemed everything was working against me running this race. First the snow storm, then the head cold, now the weather. Then there was the traffic trying to get to the race. It was dark, raining, and they had already blocked off roads for the race.

When we finally parked, we had about 20 minutes till start time (6:30). My husband and dad waited with me at the start. My mom was smart and waited in the car. A few minutes before the start, the rain died down and it got warmer as people piled into the starting area.

We finally started and I warmed up very quickly. Running will do that.

Prior to this race, my race experience consisted of 4 or 5 5Ks. My longest distance ever run was 6.5 miles, and that was over a month ago. I just wanted to finish this race and not die.

The first few miles were easy. I kept my goal pace. The sun gradually came out. I had planned to walk at certain intervals, but forgot to set my timer up before the race. I began walking at water stations and every 14 minutes for one minute.

Soon there was a welcome sight: my mom, dad, and husband just after mile 5 with more water. I stopped briefly to give them my jacket, get a little juice, and take another energy gummy, then it was back to the race.

The next few miles were around a small park area, so they planned to meet me again on my way back out of that area, which would be around mile 7.5.

I saw them and they saw me, but I didn't need to stop that time. They cheered for me and I waved to them, energized by the gummy and support, and also knowing I was over half way done.

Mile 8 was when my feet started hurting. My mom had brought band aids since is probably get blisters on my feet from running in wet socks. My shoes were pretty old by running shoes standards. I could feel how wet and cold my socks were. I had sweat so much previously that now, getting wind off the ocean, I was freezing. My hands were tinglinging. I was getting hungry.

At the turn to mile 11, the wind changed. We were now running straight into it. I had planned to run the last three miles, but the wind made me feel like I was running under water.

All along the last few miles were people shouting, holding signs, and ringing cowbells. They told us we were almost done, keep going, you're doing great. That encouragement really meant so much and helped me as I pushed against the wind to finally finish. All I could think about was a warm meal and taking my shoes off.

At mile 13, I saw my family. They encouraged me even more as I took the last steps and finally crossed the finish line.

I had expected to have some sort of carthartic experience at the finish, but I didn't. I just stopped my gps watch, turned off the music, and bent over, exhausted. Everything hurt and I was freezing!

I made my way to my family and they said they were proud of me. The race had provided lots of food and drinks, so I limped through that tent and met my family on the other side. We walked slowly to the car and drove to the hotel. I had expected to walk around, socialize, and take pictures. Instead, I just wanted to take my shoes off and get into bed.

So that's what I did!

After sleeping a few hours, I took a shower and ate lunch with my parents. Then I went back to bed until the after party.

But this is the big thing. In the Bible, it talks about working for the prize, running with endurance for our ultimate reward. I knew I would receive a medal for finishing. That's one of the things that kept me going. I had never gotten a medal for running before, and even leading up to the race, 13.1 miles seemed impossible.

Aside from my engagement and wedding rings, this is one of the most meaningful pieces of bling I've ever had. This is the reward I ran for - the medal and everything it stands for. It's proof that the impossible is possible. That with training, I can achieve my goals. That a journey of 13.1 miles begins with a single step. That I can and I will do 26.2 miles one day, a triathlon one day, and maybe more later. Who knows? The point is that I can.

What do you want to do? What goal is standing before you that seems impossible? You CAN do it. So get started. Don't wait until tomorrow, start now. Get this bling, get this endorphin rush, and get this proud of yourself.

Just Peachy

Today was spent walking along the beach, driving the race course, napping, and cheering my mom on as she completed her 5k.

My parents at the beach behind our hotel :) it was very cold and windy.

My husband joined us this evening for dinner. I had this enormous flounder and sweet potato fries. Carb loading is difficult when you're gluten- and dairy-free! But luckily potatoes have some carbs.

I wore the peachy keen necklace without the enhancer (forgot to pack it!) I usually pair this necklace with the melon earrings from the gumdrops collection, but I was feeling fancy and wore my favorite earrings instead - gold lace.

What do you think? Would you wear this combo?

Now it's off to an early bedtime for an early half marathon!

Sandy for the beach

Today we completed our trek to myrtle beach. It didn't take too long to get there, but we passed so many fallen trees and snow piles! It was an interesting drive to the beach for sure.

Crazy, right?!

We got checked in for our races and strolled the runners' expo.

Super excited!

Anyway, here is the necklace :)

Isn't that pretty and perfect for the beach?

We are so excited and nervous for the race this weekend.

Perfect travel earrings

The nice thing about snow days is being forced to slow down. We spent a lot of quality time together and I got a lot done on the blanket I'm currently working on for my husband.

And I had lots and lots of time to think about how perfect these earrings are for travel.

Three different, very portable earrings are perfect to slip in a purse or suitcase pocket. They go with just about everything.

Would you travel with these? Or do you like wearing something bigger?

White hot watch + surprise road trip

We've got another big snowstorm heading this way and a half marathon in myrtle beach this weekend, so we decided to head out of town early. We stayed with my grandma in Columbia, part way to myrtle beach, to wait out the storm.

I want to show you the watch I wear every day (really). I got this one free for hosting a show last year.

Don't you love this watch??

The Hope ring

This post may be more for fellow jewelers than customers, but everyone is welcome to read! The ring featured here is not available in our catalog, so I am using it as an additional gift for my hostesses. It's stretchy, so an easy gift (or re-gift if my hostess doesn't love it but knows someone who would).

I love this ring and will probably keep one for myself :)

This can be worn as part of a more formal ensemble or worn as I wore it today - with jeans and a hoodie. I love the little bit of bling in the o.

How would you wear this ring?

True Blue & Gemma

Today was another busy but good day. I knew we'd be out all day so needed to be fashionable but comfortable, so I wore one of my favorite maxi skirts and Mandy's shirt (don't tell her).

I'm wearing the two chain strands of true blue doubled as well as Gemma necklace and earrings.

These are the can't get enough bracelets, which I just added to my collection.

I'm also wearing two of the three rock steady rings. Here is the other...

I love all the blue and green colors in this combination. Which is your favorite?

Easy Living - Day 5

This is the final way to wear Easy Living as a necklace. Mandy is wearing a long style with the pendant at the bottom, another stylish and trendy look. This is great for dolman tops or those flowy chiffon tops and dresses.

To do this look, we just separated the four strands and put those over Mamdy's head. Then we affixed the pendant to the last chain.

Which look is your favorite? Would you wear this long style?

Easy Living - Day 4

For today's look, Mandy is showing off the y-necklace style. It helps her look tall and lean, as well as giving her the menswear look that has been so stylish lately (looks like a tie).

Easy Living - Day 2

Sorry for not posting in awhile! My birthday was this week, so I've been busy celebrating :)

Here is another great to wear the Easy Living necklace.

Mandy is also wearing the Miss Daisy earrings, which are absolutely adorable.

This is great if you're going for a simple, casual look. Great for the weekend!

Easy Living - Day 1

For this series, I'll be showing you one amazing necklace five ways. I'm sure you'll love this necklace and all the fun we'll have with it.

The first way is probably the most popular. The clasp is in the back and the removable enhancer is in the front.

I've paired it today with the sizzle earrings, but this necklace goes well with lots of earrings.

Do you like this simple look?

Sea breeze - Day 7

This is the final day of sea breeze for this series. I always talk about how versatile premier is, but it usually centers around the necklaces. Today, I want to show you how earrings can also be versatile.

Mandy is wearing sea breeze tripled with the crochet pin to the side and the cute as a button and gumdrops earrings.

The necklace looks great like this. You can really appreciate the different colors and beads this way.

My favorite part, though, is the earrings!

The cute as a button earrings come with a pair of pearl studs and clingy studs, along with the black flower jacket. I took the turquoise gumdrops studs and used the black jacket to dress them up. Here's a closer look:

I really like the black and turquoise combination. What do you think?
